Harvest Green Developments have done it again, completing yet another impressive project for TRP Polymer Solution’s factory in Hereford. The installation of a top-of-the-line Solar PV System complete with expertly mounted solar panels, inverters, and wiring on the roof is a game-changer for the company.

Harvest Green Developments were awarded the contract to build the Solar PV system after a competitive tender process. Prior to the build phase we supported TRP by competing a structural survey and submitting a G99 application to National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) to allow the connection of this generation asset, in parallel to the NGED network.

The project was started in September 2022, and commissioned 2 months later in November 2022. As of July 2024, the system has generated over 368MWh of electricity and offset over 72,000kg of CO2 emissions. 99% of all of the energy produced has been used on site, reducing the import of electricity by 15% since the system was commissioned.
