TDK-Lambda is Britain’s largest designer and manufacturer of both standard and configurable power supplies. As a company, TDK-Lambda is a global leader in power supply, recognised around the world for technology, efficiency and reliability.
As with many businesses around the world, TDK had the ambition to reduce its grid energy usage. Harvest helped them achieve this by deploying Solar PV panels to the roof of their facility in Ilfracombe.
A 91.20kW fully SolarEdge optimised system was installed in March 2019, allowing the site to generate its own power. This has been so successful that the system was extended in March 2020 with another 100.75kW SolarEdge array to produce more on-site power.
The system’s performance is being monitored through the use of the SolarEdge Energy meter. This allows both TDK and our team at Harvest to understand where the generated energy is flowing.
