Creating a positive environmental impact has always gone hand in hand with supporting people and communities for us at Harvest Green Developments. Through Harvest Green Futures, that commitment continues to grow, with a clear focus on helping children facing deprivation gain access to education, opportunities, and brighter futures. Following the success of last year’s initiative, we are proud to announce the Harvest Green Futures 2026 events, our second annual fundraising series designed to bring together businesses, partners, and the local community. This year, we have two standout events in July, with more details below:
Charity Golf Day – 15th July
Location: Ilfracombe Golf Club
Our Charity Golf Day returns, set against the stunning backdrop of Ilfracombe Golf Club. This event has been carefully designed to bring together our valued suppliers, partners, and wider network for a day that balances healthy competition with positive charity impact.
Whilst Golf Days have always been a popular networking opportunity, we want this event to bring together people who are committed to making a difference alongside our charity mission. By participating, attendees are not only enjoying a day on the course but actively contributing to initiatives that support young people who need it most and a cause we are all extremely passionate about.
The format of the day will centre around a full round of golf alongside panoramic views of the sea from every hole; there will be plenty of food and drink available too. To maximise the impact of the event, several additional fundraising elements will run alongside the golf. This includes on-course games, and a carefully curated charity auction will give attendees the chance to bid on a range of prizes and experiences, adding both excitement and further opportunity to contribute.
Businesses attending will also have the option to sponsor elements of the day, creating further opportunities to support the cause while gaining visibility within a network of like-minded organisations. This approach ensures that every attendee can play a role in helping raise as much as possible and beat the £14,000 we raised last year. The goal is simple: to raise as much as possible for Harvest Green Futures while continuing to build a strong, connected network of businesses committed to making a difference.
World Cup Family Fun Day – 19th July
Location: Larkstone Cafe & Bar, Ilfracombe
While the Charity Golf Day focuses on bringing businesses together, the second of the Harvest Green Futures 2026 events is centred around the local community. Taking place at Larkstone Cafe & Bar, the World Cup Family Fun Day is a free event designed to welcome families, friends, and local residents for a day of entertainment, fundraising, and excitement for the game of the season. With the World Cup Final kicking off at 8pm, the event will build throughout the day towards what promises to be a memorable evening (fingers crossed England makes it to the end!)
An outdoor screen will be set up to broadcast the match, where the community can come together and enjoy the day. Whether attending for the football, the entertainment, or to spend time with family, attendees can expect a fun family day.
The event has been planned to ensure there is something for all ages. The outdoor screening will provide a focal point for the day, bringing people together to share in the excitement of the final. Alongside this, there will be a range of family-friendly entertainment and activities designed to keep younger attendees engaged and ensure the day feels inclusive for everyone.
While entry is free, there will be a variety of optional fundraising opportunities available throughout the day, allowing attendees to support the cause in a way that feels accessible. With the event hosted at Larkstone Cafe & Bar (who have been amazing partners at our events), visitors will also have access to quality food and refreshments all day long.
Last year, over 800 members of the public attended and helped us raise an incredible amount of money and this year we want to go bigger and better – we hope as many people as possible will be able to join us to celebrate our second fundraising event and smash our fundraising targets!
